The Future Faces of Aperture
The Aperture Group has been busy behind the scenes in recent months, investing in the future to ensure it has the strongest possible team heading up the business moving forward. The company is now pleased to announce that with a mix of fresh blood and industry pros, it has a formidable management team in place to achieve its ambitious growth targets while maintaining a strong customer focus.
“The new team has expertise across all areas of business and provides us with the strong foundation we need to take Aperture and our customers on to the next level,” says Matthew Mycock, Aperture Group’s CEO.
Aperture is delighted to welcome Robin Baker who takes the position of MD managing the core Aperture Business along with the Calibre Doors and Norvik New Build Business units. With an established background in the industry, including a position as Group MD of Masonite UK, Robin comments: “I am really pleased to be joining the new Aperture Group and I am particularly excited to be part of the team at this important time, helping to lead the business on a positive future path. I am also excited to be working with my new team of executive colleagues.”
Steve Halford joins the team as Business Development Director who many will know from Crystal Clear Group, Tuffx Conservatory Roof Glass or Ultraframe. Heading up HR is Carolyn Reed whose previous roles include Global HR Director for Tunstall Group and Head of Leadership & Talent at Hastings Direct, while the Head of Marketing is Helen Tunnicliffe who many will recognise from Saint-Gobain. Helen comments: “I am excited about the opportunities in Aperture’s future for us and for our customers. Matthew has built a strong team with varied experience but all of whom have one common goal – serving the customer. Aperture’s commitment to putting the customer first appealed to me and it’s a focus that truly spans every aspect of the company.”
Daniel Cox is Procurement Manager and Elliott Dawson is the Commercial Manager responsible for the Social Housing & Contracting Sector. Elliott adds: “I’ve worked in the window and door sector in sales and management positions for some years and consider myself to have a 360 approach to business. I look forward to applying this approach to the Aperture Group to generate real results for the company and our customers.”
“Every member of the team brings something unique to the business,” continues Matthew, “and collectively they are a customer centric force to be reckoned with. I am confident that with this new team now fully embedded, we are on track to be a robust contender in the window, door and conservatory markets and in the New Build, Home Improvement and Export markets.”
